ADULT PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS 

Clubs are legally responsible for assigning adults who meet requirements to work in youth soccer. To participate in the SMSL, adults (coaches and managers) must meet three requirements: 

1. (Annually) Submit personal information and pass the SMSL USSSA background check. 

2. (Every two years) Obtain Certificates for Safe Sport Training. 

3. (Every three years) Obtain proof of Concussion Protocol Training.

Please sign up when registering your player. Reach out to the Registrar or Manager Coordinator if you didn't sign up to volunteer when you registered your player.

Parent/caregivers that volunteer to coach or manage their player's team are refunded the registration fee for their player
